GAIL's Bakery is seeking a Head Baker to lead and inspire a team in our busy bakery. You will bake, supervise and maintain high standards for display items while upholding food safety rules. Expect early starts around 5:30am–6:30am and a focus on developing others within the team.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a bakery environment.
• Ability to train and develop other staff.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Solid knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the kitchen team to deliver high-quality bread, pastries and cakes.
• Mentor and develop colleagues to raise performance.
• Ensure all items meet brand standards and food safety requirements.
• Coordinate early-morning production and display baking.
