DN Colleges Group invites applications for an experienced HE Nursing Lecturer to join our Higher Education team across University Campus North Lincolnshire and University Campus Doncaster. The role focuses on delivering teaching and student support for Adult Nursing and Health and Social Care programmes.

This permanent, part-time post is 15 hours per week with negotiable days. The salary ranges between £14,276 and £18,070 per annum, with access to pension and extensive staff benefits.

DN Colleges Group is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic HE Nursing Lecturer to join our Higher Education team, delivering teaching and academic support across undergraduate Health and Social Care programmes at University Campus North Lincolnshire (UCNL) and University Campus Doncaster (UCDon).

This role is ideally suited to a registered nursing professional who is passionate about supporting the next generation of healthcare practitioners. You will contribute to the delivery of Adult Nursing programmes validated by Sheffield Hallam University, providing high-quality teaching, personal academic support and a positive student experience. Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will play an active role in curriculum development, quality enhancement, student engagement and the continued growth of our Higher Education provision.

This is a permanent, part-time position working 15 hours per week, with working days negotiable with the successful candidate.

Actual Salary: £14,276.20 - £18,070.14 per annum

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching across Higher Education Health and Social Care and Adult Nursing programmes.

  • Participate in relevant programme teams, committees, examination boards and external quality processes.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders to develop and enhance Higher Education provision.
  • Maintain subject expertise through ongoing professional development and scholarly activity.
Essential Criteria
  • Degree in Nursing.
  • Minimum Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy.
  • Current NMC registration.
  • Extensive experience within the nursing profession.
  • Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills.
  • Commitment to quality improvement, student success and professional development.

Additional Information
Teaching Qualifications:

Applicants are not required to hold a teaching qualification at the point of appointment. However, they must be willing to work towards and achieve a recognised Level 5 teaching qualification within the first 18 months of employment. This qualification must then be maintained through ongoing Continuous Professional Development (CPD). At DN Colleges Group, a recognised teaching qualification is defined as Level 5 or above.
