Job summary

Leicestershire County Council is seeking a Transport Planning Technician within the HDM team at County Hall, Leicester. You will maintain the MasterGov system, provide superuser support, train staff and manage access rights while ensuring consultations are tracked and reported.

Qualifications

• GCSE English Language and Mathematics Grades A–C or equivalent, or relevant demonstrable experience.
• Use of MS Office programmes and use of mapping software. Experience of working in an office environment.
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate recording of information.
• Ability to work to tight timescales, agreed timescales and manage your own workload.
• Ability to search and interrogate systems in order to extract relevant information and produce reports.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to problem solve and identify new and efficient ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and updating the HDM electronic system (MasterGov) for recording, providing and monitoring consultation responses.
• Providing a superuser role for MasterGov including developing training manuals and delivering training.
• Monitoring and managing consultations and correspondence via the HDM inbox.
• Providing admin support for the HDM system, processing invoices and generating reports.
• Monitoring and reviewing consultations on planning applications and ensuring information is input onto electronic systems.
