Universal Quantum Ltd. is seeking an experienced HDL Engineer in the electronics team to advance quantum hardware. You will drive HDL design, write circuit documentation, and develop expertise across electronics topics while collaborating with mechanical, software, and physics colleagues on control systems for quantum computers.

The role emphasizes thorough verification, documentation discipline, and real-time embedded FPGA work in a cutting-edge quantum computing environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in high-performance Electronics Design including Digital, Analog and Embedded.
• HDL design and verification using Verilog, VHDL or SystemVerilog.
• Use of spectrum analysers, oscilloscopes, and VNA.
• FPGA experience and embedded software for real-time systems.
• Experience working with suppliers and contractors.
• Strong documentation discipline.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, team player.
• Degree: 2.1 BEng/BSc in Electronics Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Document circuits and verification tests thoroughly.
