Universal Quantum in Haywards Heath is seeking an RF – System Designer to lead the design and architecture of the end-to-end RF delivery system for quantum technologies. You will set specifications for key building blocks, oversee RF design, simulation, testing and verification, document results, and collaborate with RF, electronics, ASIC/chip, mechanical and software engineers.

This role offers the chance to work with cutting‑edge RF solutions and contributing to rapid proof‑of‑concept

Qualifications

• 15–20 years of RF design experience.
• Strong understanding of RF hardware design principles.
• Knowledge of RFIC and MMIC design principles.
• Experience developing and executing test plans for complex RF systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture activities for complete RF delivery system including transmission lines to the quantum chip.
• Set the spec for each key building block of the end-to-end RF delivery system.
• Oversee RF design, simulation, testing methodologies, integration, verification, and testing.
• Document RF, and verification tests comprehensively.
• Collaborate with RF team members, electronics engineers, ASIC/chip designers, mechanical engineers, software engineers, and physicists.
