Job summary

IC Resources is seeking a Staff FPGA Engineer for a leading quantum computing company in Oxford. You will take a senior technical role, owning FPGA architecture and development of signal processing and control functions across RTL design, verification, modeling, hardware testing and debugging.

The role requires 10+ years FPGA experience, strong SystemVerilog/Verilog/VHDL RTL skills, DSP expertise (DDC/DUC, DDS, FIR/IIR), Xilinx MPSoC familiarity, and hands-on debugging with lab equipment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on FPGA development experience.
• Strong RTL design and verification using SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL.
• Extensive FPGA-based DSP experience (DDC/DUC, DDS, FIR/IIR).

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop signal processing and control functions for FPGA systems.
• Work across RTL design, verification, modelling, hardware testing and system-level debugging.
• Collaborate with electronics, software and quantum engineering teams.
• Take significant technical ownership within the FPGA team.
