Job summary

SMS Mining Services is seeking HD Mechanics to join our High Wycombe workshop. We have opportunities from 2 years post-trade to 20 years post-trade, with inspections, repairs, diagnostics and rebuilds across fleet and client equipment.

Based in a modern facility, you’ll work in a safety‑driven team, enjoy competitive rates up to 60 per hour, and benefit from ongoing training, career progression, and employee wellbeing initiatives. Australian/NZ trade certification is required.

Qualifications

• Australian / NZ recognised Heavy Diesel trade certificate (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years post-trade experience.
• Unlimited Australian working rights.
• Valid C Class Driver’s License.

Based in our modern High Wycombe facility, we have opportunities available for HD Mechanics of all skill level from 2 years post-trade to 20 years post-trade.

Enjoy a role where no two days look the same. You'll work across SMS Mining's fleet and external client equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, repairs, diagnostics and rebuilds to keep machines operating at their best.
