Job summary

Gold Fields invites applications for a Permanent Residential & FIFO OHS Leader at St Ives. The role operates on an 8/6 roster with a 6% site allowance, 5 weeks annual leave, long service leave after 5 years, paid parental leave, and access to internal & external training.

You will work with site leaders to foster a strong safety culture, influencing behaviours, building capability, and leading the Safety Management System improvements at St Ives.

Qualifications

• Tertiary WHS qualification or related field required.
• Section 26 certification desirable.
• ICAM Lead Investigator and Lead Auditor qualifications desirable.
• Manual Driver’s Licence required.
• Extensive OHS leadership experience in mining/ industrial environments, preferably underground.

Responsibilities

• Lead and embed safety values and behaviours across the site.
• Coach leaders to build confidence and capability in safety leadership.
• Monitor, report, and analyse OHS performance to drive engagement and culture.
• Support implementation and continuous improvement of the Safety Management System.
• Promote visible leadership and positive engagement with employees on OHS initiatives.
