Job summary

Flogas Britain seeks a Hazardous Area Electrician to build LPG refuelling stations and install/maintain networks across the UK. You’ll support other installations and inspections on customer and internal projects.

The role requires accredited electrical qualifications and a strong eye for fault finding, with responsibilities spanning on-site builds, plant upgrades, and off-site assemblies.

Qualifications

• Accredited apprenticeship or comparable qualification (JIB Graded Gold card or above).
• Level 3 for electrical installations - BS7671:2018. 18th edition.
• CCSNG/JIB/SSSTS or equivalent Safety passport.
• G&G 2391/2391-52/2394/2395 testing.
• Compex modules EX01-4 or IECEx COPC EX001-8.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out bespoke LPG refuelling builds at our facility and across the UK.
• Installation of new LPG/LNG plants throughout the UK.
• Electrical inspections and rectification work on customer installations across the UK.
• Electrical inspections, rectification and full plant upgrades on Flogas installations UK-wide.
• Off-site electrical assembly of LPG vapourisers, pump skid units, and plant houses.
