Job summary

AvantiGas is seeking a skilled LPG Field Engineer to join the North region, responsible for safe installation and maintenance of LPG vessels and systems across domestic, commercial, agricultural, and industrial sites. You will work autonomously with a regional team, providing expert advice to customers and internal teams while upholding high safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• ACS Qualification in CCLP1EPC or equivalent certification.
• Solid knowledge of liquid transfer and vapour recovery systems.
• Strong knowledge of LPG codes of practice and current safety legislation.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to work autonomously and make sound technical decisions in the field.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Install, exchange, and uplift LPG vessels.
• Conduct ten-year testing of LPG vessels and annual visual inspections with records.
• Complete service works and maintenance on LPG installations, diagnosing issues and implementing solutions.
• Attend emergency call-outs, including out-of-hours support.
• Provide technical advice to customers, sales teams, and internal staff on product storage, distribution systems, and safety requirements.
• Maintain company vehicle and equipment and manage your schedule to deliver excellent service.
