Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Hatchery Operative in Grantham to keep the hatchery running safely and to the highest standards. The role prioritises careful handling of eggs and chicks, high hygiene, and safe operation of hatchery machinery.

You will work early morning shifts, contribute to daily operations, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Weekly pay, 28 days leave pro-rata, and overtime at time and a half are part of the package.

Looking for a hands-on role where attention to detail really matters?

We’re looking for a motivated Hatchery Operative to join our committed team and play a key role in keeping our hatchery running safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

What you’ll be doing:

• Carefully handling and processing poultry eggs and chicks to protect their health and wellbeing
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene across the facility
• Operating hatchery machinery and equipment in a safe and responsible manner
• Supporting daily hatchery operations as an essential part of the team

Hourly Rate: The hourly rate is £12.71 p/hOvertime paid at time and a half.

28 days annual leave pro-rata.
