Job summary

Harrow Gate Primary Academy, part of the Enquire Learning Trust, is recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant for its Early Years team in the nursery. The work centers on play-based learning, supporting children's communication, early reading, writing and number, and observing children to plan their next steps.

You will need a Level 3 Early Years qualification and experience in Nursery or Reception, with an Enhanced DBS check.

Job description

Harrow Gate Primary Academy, part of the Enquire Learning Trust, is recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant for its Early Years team in the nursery. The work centres on play-based learning, supporting children's communication, early reading, writing and number, and observing children to plan their next steps. The post is permanent, term time plus five professional development days, at 39.5 hours a week. Fit depends on a Level 3 Early Years qualification and experience in Nursery or Reception, and an Enhanced DBS check is required.

• Help create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for children to explore and learn
• Carry out observations and assessment to identify children's interests and next steps
• Provide targeted support for children with SEND and additional needs

Qualifications

• Relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification

Experience

• Experience of supporting children's learning in Nursery or Reception
