An established industry player is seeking a Hardware Electronics Test Engineer to join their team for a 6-month full-time contract. Job Title: Hardware Electronics Test Engineer

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for hardware testing, producing test reports including at external test houses
• Optimising scripts and test tools to improve overall test efficiency.
• Support the Design and Development teams with product testing and evaluation and recommending further investigation if required.
• Create and develop test plans for new technologies and new products
Required:
• Engineering mindset and eagerness to learn new skills
• Experience using electronics test equipment such as oscilloscopes, Digital multi-meter, spectrum analysers.
• Background in Electronics.
• Knowledge of compliance standards such as EMC, Radio, Safety.
• Experience in using test and validation methodology and scripts to test hardware and/or systems/platforms
• An understanding of how to sort and present test data to illustrate outcome of testing.
• Experience in working with developers to design test cases for new products/technology (non-essential)
• Experience in summarising technical information with varying levels of detail, depending on audience (non-essential)
• Some experience in managing a test workstack (non-essential)
• Some experience with python coding and scripting (non-essential)
