Job Title: Hardware Electronics Test Engineer

Interview Process: 2 rounds

Job Description

What you’ll do:

1. Responsible for hardware testing, producing test reports including at external test houses.
2. Optimising scripts and test tools to improve overall test efficiency.
3. Support the Design and Development teams with product testing and evaluation, and recommend further investigation if required.
4. Create and develop test plans for new technologies and new products.

What you’ll bring:

1. An engineering mindset and eagerness to learn new skills.
2. Experience using electronics test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, spectrum analyzers.
3. Background in Electronics.
4. Knowledge of compliance standards such as EMC, Radio, Safety.
5. Experience in using test and validation methodologies and scripts to test hardware and/or systems/platforms.
6. An understanding of how to sort and present test data to illustrate testing outcomes.
7. Optional: Experience working with developers to design test cases for new products/technologies.
8. Optional: Ability to summarise technical information with varying levels of detail, depending on the audience.
9. Optional: Experience managing a test workstack.
10. Optional: Some experience with Python coding and scripting.
