We’re seeking an Electronics Engineering Manager to share technical responsibilities with the Managing Director, lead our cutting-edge facility in the defence and electronics manufacturing sector, and serve as the main contact for a high-value client. This role offers a clear pathway to senior management, including potential progression to Managing Director or Technical Director.

About the Role

As Electronics Engineering Manager, you will oversee all aspects of facility operations—from production and maintenance to quality control and compliance. You will work collaboratively with engineering, finance, and senior leadership teams to implement strategic initiatives, improve operational processes, and ensure high standards in our design and manufacturing processes.

Your leadership will be vital in delivering high-quality, mission-critical products, fostering sustainable growth, and enhancing the company's reputation in defence and bespoke electronics manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead facility operations, including production, maintenance, and quality assurance
• Drive strategic planning aligned with company goals
• Manage defence contracts ensuring full regulatory compliance
• Promote a culture of innovation, safety, and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with engineering teams from design to production
• Oversee budgeting, financial performance, and resource allocation
• Build relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and regulators
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards
• Set and monitor KPIs for performance, cost-efficiency, and quality
