Are you a strategic leader with a passion for driving operational excellence in high-stakes environments? We’re seeking an Electronics Engineering Manager to share technical responsibilities with the Managing Director, lead our cutting-edge facility in the defence and electronics manufacturing sector, and serve as the main contact for a high-value client. This role offers a clear pathway to senior management, including potential progression to Managing Director or Technical Director.

As Electronics Engineering Manager, you will oversee all aspects of facility operations—from production and maintenance to quality control and compliance. You will work collaboratively with engineering, finance, and senior leadership teams to implement strategic initiatives, improve operational processes, and ensure high standards in our design and manufacturing processes.
Your leadership will be vital in delivering high-quality, mission-critical products, fostering sustainable growth, and enhancing the company's reputation in defence and bespoke electronics manufacturing.
Additional targets include a production efficiency of 95%+, 10% annual operational cost reduction, and zero tolerance for safety incidents. The client is flexible regarding contractor or permanent employment, with potential to succeed the retiring MD within 3-5 years.
