Job summary

Lynx Recruitment is seeking an electronics contractor for a Cambridge-based engagement in the defence sector. The role focuses on electronics hardware design, schematic capture and PCB layout within the Engineering Team.

Responsibilities include board bring-up, testing and documentation. Knowledge of Altium and low-level data protocols is required; defence sector experience and active SC clearance would be beneficial.

Job description

My client in the defence industry require an Electronics contractor to cover resource within the Engineering Team for on an initial 6 month basis.

• Cambridge based
• Rate up to £100ph DOE

Requirements

• Electronics hardware design and schematic capture (using Altium for example).
• Experience with low level data protocols (SPI, I2C, Ethernet, Modbus).
• PCB layout design, including signal integrity and stack-up design.
• Board bring-up, testing and documentation.

Defence industry experience & active SC clearance would be beneficial.
