Job summary

Lynx Recruitment Ltd on behalf of a defence client is seeking an Electronics contractor to support the Engineering Team for an initial 6-month engagement based in Cambridge.

The role offers Outside IR35, a negotiable rate, and a 4-day week with on-site or hybrid work in Cambridge. You will design electronics hardware, capture schematics (Altium), work with SPI, I2C, Ethernet and Modbus, lay out PCBs with signal integrity, and perform bring-up and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics hardware design and schematic capture.
• PCB layout with signal integrity and stack-up considerations.
• Board bring-up, testing and documentation.

My client in the defence industry require an Electronics contractor to cover resource within the Engineering Team for on an initial 6 month basis.

Key details:

• Outside IR35
• Rate negotiable
• 4 day work week, based in Cambridge

Requirements:

• Electronics hardware design and schematic capture (using Altium for example).
• Experience with low level data protocols (SPI, I2C, Ethernet, Modbus).
• PCB layout design, including signal integrity and stack-up design.
• Board bring-up, testing and documentation.
• Defence industry experience, ideally SC or DV cleared
• Happy to work onsite/ hybrid in Cambridge
