The Role

As a Hardware Support Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the flawless performance of timing and GPS systems, both in our workshop and at high-profile motorsport events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, install, maintain, and repair timing and GPS hardware in the workshop and at race circuits.
  • Liaise with venues to ensure equipment and infrastructure are fully operational, arranging repairs or installations as needed.
  • Calibrate and certify timing and GPS systems to meet company standards.
  • Coordinate equipment deployment with the Operations Manager.
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support during motorsport events.
  • Draft and review documentation for technical equipment use.
  • Attend approved training courses to expand your expertise.

  • 2–3 years of experience in a technical environment.
  • Strong analytical and fault-finding skills.
  • Practical skills, including soldering and working with tools.
  • Good IT and networking skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to interpret and apply technical documentation.
  • Conscientious, self-motivated, and organized.
  • Willingness to travel and work weekends, with overnight stays as required.
  • Full UK driving license and eligibility to work in the UK.
