Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London are recruiting a Handyperson for a site in Sandwich. The contract is temporary with potential for extension, paying £19–£20 per hour based on experience. Start date ASAP.

You will work under the Project Manager and Site Manager, handle job lists mainly involving woodwork, metal work and minor snagging, and bring strong external carpentry experience.

Candidates must hold a current CSCS card, own hand and power tools, and possess good spoken and written communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in General Building.
• Must have current CSCS card.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of the Project Manager and Site Manager.
• Receive job lists including woodwork, metal work and minor snagging.
• Main experience in external carpentry will be required.
• Check drawings and set out works to be completed.
• Hand back snag sheets daily to show works completed.

The role

As the Handyperson / Multi-Trader on the project you will be responsible for:

• Working under the supervision and management of the Project Manager, Site Manager.
• Receiving job lists including but not limited to mainly woodwork, metal work and minor snagging works.
• Main experience in external carpentry will be required.
• Checking drawings and setting out works to be completed.
• Handing back snag sheets each day to show works completed.

About you

• You will need a current and valid CSCS card.
• Own a selection of hand tools and power tools.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

To be successful in your application for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
