Job summary

Fawkes & Reece is seeking a Handyperson on a temporary/full-time basis in the Lenham area. You will work under the Project Manager and Site Manager, handling woodwork, metal work and minor snagging, with emphasis on external carpentry. A valid CSCS card and own tools are essential, along with good communication skills.

Applicants should have at least 2 years in general building and be able to interpret drawings and set out works. This is an ongoing project with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• CSCS card required.
• Minimum 2 years+ experience in General Building.
• Own a selection of hand tools and power tools.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision of Project Manager and Site Manager.
• Receive job lists including mainly woodwork, metal work and snagging.

• Hand back snag sheets daily to show works completed.

The role:

As the Handyperson / Multi-Trader on the project you will be responsible for:

• Working under the supervision and management of the Project Manager, Site Manager.
• Receiving job lists including but not limited to mainly woodwork, metal work and minor snagging works.
• Main experience in external carpentry will be required.
• Checking drawings and setting out works to be completed.
• Handing back snag sheets each day to show works completed.

About you:

• You will need a current and valid CSCS card.
• Own a selection of hand tools and power tools.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

To be successful in your application for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
