Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking a Handyperson for a project in the Blean area. You will work under the supervision of the Project Manager and Site Manager, carrying out woodwork, metalwork and snagging tasks on site.

Experience in external carpentry is preferred and a valid CSCS card is essential. You should own a range of hand and power tools, plus strong communication skills to report daily progress.

Qualifications

• Requires valid CSCS card.
• Minimum 2 years in General Building space.
• Experience in external carpentry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive job lists including woodwork, metal work and minor snagging.

• Location: Blean
• Contract type: Temporary (Full time)
• Start date: ASAP
• Duration: Ongoing
• Pay rate: 18-19 per hour

A well-established regional contractor who specialises in the Education and Care home sector.

The role:

As the Handyperson / Multi-Trader on the project you will be responsible for:

• Working under the supervision and management of the Project Manager, Site Manager.

• Receiving job lists including but not limited to mainly woodwork, metal work and minor snagging works.
• Main experience in external carpentry will be required.
• Checking drawings and setting out works to be completed.
• Handing back snag sheets each day to show works completed.

About you:

• You will need a current and valid CSCS card.
• Own a selection of hand tools and power tools.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

To be successful in your application for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• You MUST have a current and valid CSCS card.
• A minimum of 2 years+ experience within the General Building space.
