Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking a Handyperson to join the voids team for a local council in the Kensington & Chelsea borough. The role focuses on general maintenance and repair works in council-owned void properties and tasks across the property estate.

The ideal candidate will hold a Full UK Driving Licence (manual) and work Monday to Friday, 08:00 am - 16:00 pm. A company vehicle, fuel card and uniform are provided as part of the package.

Responsibilities

• Conducting general maintenance and repair works in council-owned void properties
• Undertaking barrel lock changes, door adjustments, and associated repair works.
• Completing basic plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs as required.
• Identifying additional repair works and accurately reporting findings to supervisors
• Using a PDA system to receive job instructions, record materials used, and confirm completion of works.
