Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in Chester is seeking an experienced Handyperson to join the team. You will perform finishes, repairs and general maintenance across the site, liaising with client representatives and overseeing on-site contractors.

The role requires a proactive attitude, PC literacy and strong customer relations. Working hours are 7:30am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime available.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-profile work environments.
• Good attitude and willingness to learn.
• Proficient with PC and basic IT.
• Strong customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare & apply paint, wallpaper and other finishes to surfaces.
• Repair doors, tables and other general equipment.
• Move/build equipment across the site.
• Perform preventative & reactive maintenance across building services.
• Basic electrical & plumbing works.
• Oversee contractors / suppliers around site.
• Liaise with Clients representatives regarding maintenance & repair tasks.
• Responsible for other building and installation works as required.
• Utilise PDA to complete works, key communications & updates.
• Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Regulations.

We are recruiting an experienced Handyperson to join the team located in Chester!

The Role:

• Prepare & apply paint, wallpaper and other finishes to surfaces.
• Repair doors, tables and other general equipment.
• Move/build equipment across the site.
• Perform preventative & reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and implement effective repairs across all building services systems.
• Basic electrical & plumbing works.
• Oversee contractors / suppliers around site.
• Liaise with Clients representatives with respect to maintenance & repair tasks
• Responsible for other building and installation works as required.
• Utilise PDA to complete works, key communications & updates.
• Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Regulations.

Working Hours

• 7.30am – 4.30pm
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime available!

Experience Required:

• Experience of working in high profile work environment
• A good attitude & willingness to learn is essential
• PC literate
• Good Customer relationship skills
