Connection Support provides services supporting individuals at risk of homelessness or needing social care, including those affected by debt, mental health issues, substance misuse, learning disabilities, and physical disabilities.

Volunteers are vital in delivering essential services to our clients.

Are you a reliable handyperson capable of undertaking, maintaining, and repairing various tasks for our clients?

• Can you spare 1-2 hours weekly for basic home improvements?
• Are you skilled in DIY and eager to assist?
• Do you wish to motivate others to make positive life changes through skill acquisition?

Key Responsibilities

Your role involves performing basic household repairs and modifications such as:

• Gardening
• Flat pack furniture assembly
• Installing curtain rails/blinds
• Hanging pictures and shelves
• Painting

Skills Required

Volunteer Recruitment and Training

• Our Volunteer Coordinator will meet with you after application to discuss the role and answer questions.
• References and an enhanced DBS check are required.
• You will complete 1-2 hours of online training.
