Job summary

Keystone Recruit Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a Surrey-based private contractor for a Handyman/Site Foreman to support a new Horsham project for the next 2 years.

You will assist the Site Manager, help on the tools, and may operate a forklift when required. SSSTS and First Aid are essential, with 2–3 years on-site experience; training is funded by the client.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of on-site handyman or supervisory experience.
• SSSTS certification required.
• First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Manager in coordinating subcontractors and maintaining programme quality.
• Provide hands-on support on site; operate tools as needed; basic forklift tasks.
• Be willing to operate forklift or act as banksman when required.

Job Title: Handyman/Site Foreman

Location: West Sussex

Salary: £220 - £230 a day

Sector: High End Residential

We are recruiting on behalf of a privately-owned contractor based in Surrey that specializes in delivery of high end residential projects for private clients across the South Downs area. Due to a new project starting in Horsham which will run for the next 2 years they are seeking a Handyman/Site Foreman to work underneath the Site Manager and assist in the day to day running of the site and help out on the tools/forklift when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting Site Manager in managing the subcontractor on site, ensuring the quality of finish and driving site to programme
• Helping out on the tools when needed, all specialist work will be undertaken by specialist contractors but generic jobs here and there may need doing.
• Willing to help out on the forklift or as a banksman when needed

Requirements:

• 2 - 3 years experience working on a construction site in either a handyman or supervisory role
• SSSTS
• First Aid
