Job summary

Time Recruitment Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Working Foreman for heritage, restoration, and listed building projects. The role is based in Manchester/Yorkshire with travel to sites across the region and involves hands-on site leadership to deliver high-quality outcomes.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, coordinate multiple trades, and ensure safety and quality standards are met while supporting project delivery and client liaison.

Qualifications

• Experience as Working Foreman, Site Supervisor, or similar.
• Experience in restoration, refurbishment, structural alteration, demolition, or construction.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to travel across Yorkshire, Leeds, Manchester and surrounding areas.
• SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
• First Aid qualification.
• PASMA qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site activities, hands-on where required.
• Manage operatives and subcontractors on site.
• Ensure health and safety standards are maintained at all times.
• Conduct site inspections and sign off completed works.
• Coordinate labour, materials, and resources.
• Assist with site documentation and reporting.
• Support the management of project variations.
• Maintain programme targets and quality standards.
• Liaise with site teams, clients, and management.

Working Foreman - Heritage & Listed Building Restoration

Location: Manchester / Yorkshire (with travel to sites across the region)
Salary: From £21.00 an hour

Working closely with the Contracts Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of projects, supporting site operations and ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site activities while remaining hands-on where required.
