Job summary

Calibre Search is recruiting a Handyman/Handyperson to maintain a static site in Cramlington. The role covers building fabric maintenance across joinery, flooring, plumbing, doors, signage, plastering and general fittings, with a mix of PPM and reactive works.

Salary up to £32,000 with overtime, 33 days holiday, pension and private health care. This is a long‑term career with progression opportunities within a leading facilities management team.

Responsibilities

• Basic joinery, floor repair (vinyl and ceramic tiles), basic plumbing and general fabric maintenance
• Fabric work includes doors, protection works, office fittings, signage, carpentry, plastering
• Painting and decorating tasks including minor painting repairs
• Unblock drains, urinals, toilets, sinks; repair leaking taps and washers

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Handyman / Handyperson to join one of the UK's leading facilities management working on a static site in Cramlington.

The Handyman / Handyperson is a static-site role offering building fabric maintenance services across a range of disciplines aimed at keeping services and costs in-house. There work includes a mix of PPM and reactive building fabric works internally and externally to include:

Building

• Basic joinery
• Floor - repair vinyl and ceramic tiles
• Basic plumbing
• Fabric - doors, protection works, office workstations, signage, carpentry, plastering and general fittings

Painting and decorating

• Carry out minor painting repairs

Plumbing and drainage

• Unblock drains, urinals, toilets, and sinks.
• Repair leaking taps and washers.

Joinery

• Wall, floor, and associated fittings repairs.

Ironmongery and hardware repairs and replacement
