Job summary

Reputable Main Contractor in London is seeking a Handyman to deliver external maintenance and repair works across EWI projects in Ealing. The role offers an immediate start and up to six months of work for the right candidate, with a hands-on, reliable individual joining an established contractor.

The candidate should have practical experience in general building maintenance, weatherproofing, brickwork and digs, with CSCS preferred. Excellent site safety discipline is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Handyman, Maintenance Operative or in a similar construction role.
• Practical experience in general building maintenance and external repairs.
• Experience with window and door sealing, guttering or basic brickwork would be advantageous.
• A good understanding of site health and safety.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently.
• Relevant CSCS card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general external maintenance and repair works across EWI projects.
• Undertake window and door sealing to ensure effective weatherproofing.
• Carry out gutter maintenance, including clearing, minor repairs and general upkeep.
• Undertake minor brickwork and concrete repairs.
• Carry out small digging and groundworks tasks as required.
• Assist with general site maintenance and other ad hoc duties.
• Maintain a clean, safe and tidy working environment.
• Follow all site health and safety procedures.
