Job summary

Teamforce Labour is seeking an experienced Handyman for an immediate start on a long-term construction project at Virginia Water. The role covers general site maintenance and finishing works, with emphasis on carpentry, decorating, and site protection.

You will need a valid CSCS card, own tools, and the ability to work independently or as part of the site management team while maintaining high safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Previous handyman experience on construction sites.
• Valid CSCS Card required.

Responsibilities

Job description

Teamforce Labour are currently seeking an experienced Handyman for an immediate start on a long-term construction project atVirginia Water. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and skilled operative with experience carrying out a wide range of general site maintenance and finishing works. Due to the site's location, applicants should ideally live within a reasonable commuting distance, as public transport links are limited.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out general carpentry and joinery tasks.
• Painting and decorating small areas as required.
• Installing, maintaining and repairing site protection.
• Installing and maintaining site signage.
• Completing BWIC (Builder's Work in Connection) activities.
• Carrying out grouting works.
• Undertaking small concrete works, including minor pours and breaking out.
• Installing and maintaining HERAS fencing and site hoarding.
• Installing, maintaining and relocating barriers.
• General site maintenance and supporting the site management team with day-to-day tasks.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Handyman on construction sites.
• Valid CSCS Card (essential).
• Own tools and equipment suitable for general handyman duties.
• Good understanding of site health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high standards of workmanship.
