Job summary

Morgan Sindall Property Services is seeking a Handy Person for our St Albans office on a permanent, full-time basis. You will carry out responsive and planned basic repairs across occupied and void properties, handling carpentry, plumbing, and installations with handheld tools.

You must have an NVQ Level 2 Building Maintenance and a valid UK driving licence. A CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card is desirable. A company van is provided along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Building Maintenance Operative is essential.
• CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card is desirable.
• Customer-focused in occupied and void social housing properties.
• Valid full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Carry out responsive and planned repairs to properties.
• Install and repair windows, doors, ironmongery, shelving, and insulation upgrades.
• Maintain accurate job records and operate handheld tools safely on site.
• Work within occupied and void social housing to deliver high-quality repairs.
