Morgan McKinley in Billingshurst, West Sussex, is seeking a reliable Workshop Assistant for a temporary assignment starting ASAP. The role is onsite, 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, and involves a physically demanding workload in a fast-paced environment.

You will operate workshop machinery such as beam saws, CNC drills and CNC edgebanders, perform general maintenance, manage workloads with the Team Leader, and ensure tasks are completed accurately while reporting any production faults.

Formación

• Experience in an engineering, workshop or manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency with basic IT and machinery operation.

Responsabilidades

• Perform heavy lifting as required.
• Operate workshop machinery including beam saws, CNC drills and CNC edgebanders.
• Maintain and clean work areas.
• Support the Team Leader with workload management.
• Ensure tasks meet job-specific requirements and report faults.
