Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Ltd are recruiting on behalf of an FE College in Surrey for an Electrical Workshop Assistant to support the delivery of Electrical Installation programmes and maintain a safe, organised workshop environment. You will assist lecturers and students during practical sessions, prepare tools and materials, manage workshop stock, and help ensure health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within Electrical Installation or a related electrical environment
• Good practical knowledge of electrical tools, equipment and workshop procedures
• An understanding of health and safety within a practical learning environment
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Support lecturers and students during practical Electrical Installation sessions
• Prepare tools, equipment and materials for workshop activities
• Maintain workshop equipment and ensure all areas meet health and safety requirements
• Assist with stock control, ordering materials and general workshop organisation
