Job summary

Euro-Projects Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Workshop Supervisor for a well-established passenger transport business. You will lead a team of technicians in a hands-on engineering environment, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to high standards.

The role requires practical leadership, a Level 3 Heavy Vehicle qualification, and a willingness to develop skills across maintenance, inspections and warranty administration. PCV licence is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experienced HGV or PSV technician with supervisory potential.
• Level 3 Heavy Vehicle qualification (or similar).
• Confident communicator who can motivate technicians.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities of the engineering workshop, ensuring safe, efficient work to a high standard.
• Allocate maintenance, inspections, repairs and breakdown work across the team.
• Occasionally support with servicing, repairs and diagnostics with the team.
• Perform quality inspections and rectify defects as needed.
• Support vehicle availability by minimising downtime and ensuring fleet compliance.
• Mentor and develop engineering staff while promoting a positive team culture.
