Job summary

Axion Recruitment Limited seeks a Technical Sales Engineer in Saltash, UK. The role blends technical sales, customer engagement, quotation, and hands-on equipment work within a small, high-performing Business Development team.

You’ll quote standard and bespoke equipment, develop CAD diagrams and coordinate with Engineering and technical teams to deliver practical solutions, while advancing customer demonstrations and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales or engineering with customer contact.
• Strong communication and quotation preparation skills.
• Willingness to get hands-on with equipment and CAD data.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers from initial conversation to quotation and order.
• Prepare costings and quotations for standard and bespoke equipment.
• Engage with customers to understand applications and processes.
• Create CAD-based diagrams showing equipment capability.
• Support spare parts quotations and sales order processing.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Technical Services and R&D.
