Infused Solutions Ltd is seeking a hands-on Technical Team Lead focused on TypeScript and Node.js to guide a small team of software engineers in Kent. You will own backend engineering standards, contribute to design and architecture, and actively code alongside your team.

The role balances leadership with hands-on development, shaping engineering practices, and mentoring engineers to improve backend capabilities while delivering high-quality software.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining production backend systems.
• Experience leading a small engineering team or acting as a technical lead.
• Hands-on approach with significant coding time.

Responsibilities

• Remain hands-on with design, development and maintenance of backend services using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Lead by example through clean, maintainable, production‑quality code.
• Design and build scalable APIs, integrations and backend services.
• Take ownership of technical architecture and engineering decisions within your domain.
• Conduct code reviews and establish engineering standards.
