Job summary

som3 Recruitment in the United Kingdom is seeking a hands-on Salesforce Application Support Developer to join the Salesforce Application Support Team.

You will deliver enhancements, configuration changes and bug fixes, act as escalation point, and work with internal development to investigate issues before they enter larger backlogs.

The role focuses on Apex, Flows, Visualforce or Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce integrations in BAU environments, plus agile change processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' Salesforce experience.
• Strong hands-on configuration and development experience.
• Experience with Apex, Flows and Visualforce and/or Lightning Web Components.
• Experience supporting Salesforce integrations, including API or middleware-based integrations.
• Background in application support, BAU or operational environments.
• Familiarity with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
• Experience with Agile or structured change management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Salesforce enhancements, configuration changes and minor bug fixes.
• Develop and maintain solutions using Apex, Flows and Lightning components.
• Configure objects, fields, validation rules, page layouts, approval processes and installed packages.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support root cause analysis.
• Act as a technical escalation point for complex Salesforce issues.
• Assess and prepare issues for escalation to the Development Team.
• Follow agreed change, testing and deployment processes.
• Support continuous improvement of the Salesforce platform.
