Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is seeking a reliable Handyman / Property Maintenance & Caretaker to join our property management team in Liverpool and surrounding areas. This full-time role covers practical maintenance and caretaking across commercial and residential properties, including properties within Liverpool City Centre.

You will perform general repairs, upkeep of communal areas, basic joinery, decorating, plumbing and safety checks, and report issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous handyman, maintenance, caretaking, facilities or similar experience.
• Strong practical and problem-solving skills.
• Good general maintenance knowledge.
• Reliable, organised and self-motivated.
• Caretaking experience in commercial or residential properties.
• Basic plumbing, joinery or decorating skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance & repairs across the property portfolio.
• Reactive maintenance and urgent repairs.
• Maintenance of communal areas, offices, apartments and commercial units.
• Minor plumbing, joinery, decorating and making-good works.
• Prepare properties for new tenants and ensure safety and presentation.
