Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a temporary Maintenance Technician for a busy Liverpool City Centre site. This role involves day-to-day upkeep, basic repairs, and safety compliance, with an ASAP start through to 4th September. You will need practical hands-on skills, reliability, and the ability to follow site procedures.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in facilities or similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine upkeep and basic repair across the building.
• Replace light fittings, change taps, and minor plumbing tasks.
• Keep work areas clean, tidy and safe.
• Assist with moving furniture and materials with the MT.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns promptly.
• Follow site procedures and safety guidelines.
• Support fire door inspections and emergency lighting testing where experience allows.
• Assist the wider team with general site duties.

Our client is seeking a temporary Maintenance Operative to support day-to-day upkeep across a busy Liverpool City Centre site. This role is ideal for someone with strong practical ability, a reliable work ethic, and confidence completing general building maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• General maintenance - Carry out routine upkeep and basic repair work across the building.
• Basic repairs - Replace light fittings, change taps, and complete minor plumbing tasks.
• Site cleanliness - Ensure all work areas remain clean, tidy, and safe.
• Manual handling - Assist with moving furniture and materials, including chairs, mattresses, and sofas, working alongside the onsite MT.
• Issue reporting - Identify and report maintenance concerns promptly to the relevant team members.
• Health & safety compliance - Follow all site procedures and safety guidelines.
• Compliance checks - Support with fire door inspections, emergency lighting (EML) testing, and other routine compliance tasks where experience allows.
• Team support - Assist the wider team with general site duties as required.
