Job summary

Macphie is recruiting for Production Operatives at our Glenbervie manufacturing site in Aberdeenshire. You will work across different production areas, operating equipment, preparing ingredients, packing finished products and performing quality checks in a busy facility.

We value safety, teamwork and a hands-on attitude. Training will be provided and opportunities to join our Production teams across rotating shift patterns.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, practical approach to production
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly
• Comfort with basic computerised systems

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment.
• Prepare, mix, blend and handle ingredients and products.
• Set up and prepare packaging materials.
• Carry out quality checks throughout production.
• Inspect, pack, label, wrap and palletise finished products.
• Accurately complete production, quality and food‑safety documentation.
• Identify and report issues with machinery, materials or finished products.
• Follow strict food safety, hygiene and Health & Safety procedures.
• Keep the working area clean and maintain 'clean as you go' standards.
• Work closely with Team Lead, Shift Manager and colleagues across Production, Quality, Engineering and Distribution.
• Support other production areas when required.
