Job summary

Lucy Walker Recruitment Limited is supporting a well-established manufacturing business in Bradford to recruit a Production Manager. You will lead production teams, drive performance and maintain quality, safety and GMP standards.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on people development, Lean improvements and delivering on-time customer commitments within a busy operation. You will play a pivotal role in developing teams and driving continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience leading production teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong people management and coaching abilities.
• Proven track record of meeting production targets and improving performance.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and problem-solving techniques.
• Understanding of health and safety legislation and GMP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and motivate production teams to achieve targets and high performance.
• Oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring efficiency and timeliness.
• Coach and develop Team Leaders, monitor performance and progression.
• Track output, productivity, quality and waste for continuous improvement.
• Drive Lean initiatives and Kaizen activities to improve processes.
• Plan schedules, resources and materials to meet customer needs.
• Maintain quality, traceability and GMP standards across production.
• Promote a strong health and safety culture and risk assessments.
