Mailway Packaging Solutions is seeking a hands-on Production Manager to oversee contract packing lines in a busy FMCG environment in Bradford. You will lead Team Leaders and shopfloor teams, drive Lean/Kaizen improvements, and ensure productivity, quality, hygiene and health & safety standards across multiple lines.

The role offers visibility, ownership and opportunities to influence KPIs and line performance within a growing packaging business. An energetic, results-driven leader will thrive.

Formación

• Must have experience as a Production Manager / Production Supervisor / Shift Production Manager / Operations Supervisor (or equivalent).
• Experience managing production lines to hit output targets and start-up times.
• Strong knowledge of Lean / Continuous Improvement / Kaizen practices and driving measurable improvements.
• Focus on quality, traceability, and reducing rejects.
• Understanding of Health & Safety, PPE compliance, and safe systems of work.

Responsabilidades

Job Title – Production Manager (Contract Packing / FMCG / Packaging Production Manager)

Location – Bradford (BD5), West Yorkshire

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (DOE)

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (40 hours)

This Production Manager role is a brilliant opportunity to join a busy contract packing / FMCG site supplying major retailers where the Production Manager is central to keeping multiple production lines organised, running on time, and performing to target. As Production Manager, you’ll lead and develop Team Leaders and shopfloor teams while driving Lean / Kaizen improvements to boost efficiency, reduce rejects, and improve line performance. The Production Manager position offers real ownership across productivity, quality, hygiene and H&S, making it ideal for a hands‑on leader who wants visibility and impact in a growing packaging business.
