Job summary

IC Resources is partnering with an innovative technology company seeking a hands-on Production Engineer to join their growing team in the UK. You will support products from prototype builds through to full production, helping optimize manufacturing, assembly and testing processes.

You’ll build, assemble and test complex mechanical, electrical and optical systems, troubleshoot issues, and develop SOPs and production documentation to ensure product quality and efficient production operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production/manufacturing engineering environment.
• Hands-on hardware assembly, integration and testing.
• Proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Building, assembling and testing complex mechanical, electrical and optical systems.
• Supporting the transition of new products from prototype development into production.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across manufacturing, assembly and testing.
• Developing and maintaining SOPs, work instructions and production documentation.
• Identifying and implementing improvements to manufacturing processes, efficiency and product quality.
• Supporting 3D printing, component management and inventory control.
• Working closely with suppliers and external manufacturing partners to ensure smooth production operations.
