Job summary

EMR Group is seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (80/20) with mechanical, electrical and fabrication background to join our depot maintenance team. You will service plant and processing equipment to keep operations safe, reliable and efficient.

Standards include completing PPMs, diagnosing faults, and contributing to continuous improvement, with opportunities for training and progression within a hands-on, on-site role.

Qualifications

• Time served apprenticeship or equivalent NVQ 3 in Engineering maintenance.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills in heavy industry/manufacturing.
• Experience with heavy machinery, plant equipment, or processing systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and fault-find on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs to maximise uptime.
• Maintain and repair equipment such as conveyors, shredders, motors, bearings, pumps, and gearboxes.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety procedures and standards.
