Job summary

Cherry Professional Ltd in Leicestershire is seeking an Operations Team Leader to join on an immediate basis. This temporary, office-based role leads a team of eight, drives performance and maintains high levels of customer service in a fast-paced operation.

You will coach and develop staff day-to-day, address performance issues, and foster a positive culture. The role requires hands-on leadership and the ability to manage diverse personalities; start date ASAP for approximately two months.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Team Leader, Operations Team Leader, Contact Centre Team Leader or Supervisor roles.
• Strong people management skills with the ability to address challenging conversations professionally.
• Experience driving performance, engagement and operational excellence.
• Confident, credible and resilient leadership style.
• Ability to build relationships quickly and gain the respect of a diverse team.
• Experience within Financial Services, Customer Service or Contact Centre environments is advantageous.
• Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Available to start immediately.

• Conduct regular coaching, feedback and performance management conversations.
