Cherry Professional Ltd. is seeking an experienced Operations Team Leader for a temporary 2‑month assignment in Leicestershire (office-based).

You will lead a team of eight, drive performance and customer service, and maintain a hands-on leadership style with day-to-day involvement. The role requires strong people management, resilience and a proactive approach to continuous improvement, with a focus on coaching, accountability and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support a team of 8 employees within a busy operational environment
• Drive performance, productivity and accountability across the team
• Conduct regular coaching, feedback and performance management conversations
• Foster a positive and collaborative culture while maintaining high standards
• Identify and implement process improvements and more efficient ways of working
• Review existing team structures and make recommendations to enhance effectiveness
• Monitor workloads and ensure service levels and operational objectives are achieved
• Support the team through change and encourage continuous improvement
• Act as a visible leader, remaining actively involved in day‑to‑day operations
