Job summary

Danone, through its Nutricia Liverpool site, invites applications for a QC Analyst on a fixed-term contract of 6 months. This hands-on microbiology role offers exposure to routine testing, sample preparation, and environmental monitoring within a GMP/GLP framework.

You will work as part of a flexible laboratory team, developing technical and communication skills while contributing to product quality and consumer safety.

Qualifications

• Relevant scientific qualification or equivalent lab experience.
• Good analytical and technical capability.
• Follow written procedures accurately in a controlled lab environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate reporting of results.
• Manage multiple priorities in a busy, target-driven environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine microbiological testing to ensure quality and safety.
• Prepare samples and media, plate and test samples, and record results.
• Support environmental monitoring via swabs and air/settle plates.
• Maintain lab equipment with checks and calibrations.
• Work flexibly as part of a collaborative microbiology team.
