Job summary

Cranleigh STEM & Sustainability Recruitment is supporting a leading manufacturing organisation in the UK to recruit a hands-on Sustainability Manager. This role turns sustainability strategy into practical action on the shop floor, collaborating with Operations, Technical, R&D and Procurement to deliver and measure projects.

You will own sustainability data and KPIs, drive environmental improvements, support ISO 14001/9001/45001, conduct internal audits, and partner with R&D to embed

Qualifications

• Manufacturing background required.
• Delivery-focused sustainability professional on the ground.
• Experience with environmental management, carbon reduction, ISO systems and reporting advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver carbon, waste and environmental reduction projects.
• Drive sustainability improvements across manufacturing operations.
• Support ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Conduct internal audits and support environmental compliance.
• Own sustainability data, KPIs and reporting.
• Work with Procurement on responsible sourcing and supplier assessments.
• Partner with R&D to embed sustainability into new projects.
• Engage teams across UK and international operations to drive change.
