Job summary

Cranleigh STEM in Northamptonshire is seeking a hands-on Sustainability Manager to translate strategy into practical action on the shop floor. You will lead projects across carbon, waste and environmental programs while embedding ISO systems and improving supplier performance.

The role involves collaborating with Operations, Technical, R&D and Procurement, and driving change across UK and international sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, environmental management and carbon reduction.
• Experience with ISO management systems and sustainability reporting.
• Exposure to responsible sourcing and supplier assessments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver carbon, waste and environmental reduction projects.
• Drive sustainability improvements across manufacturing operations.
• Support ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Conduct internal audits and support environmental compliance.
• Own sustainability data, KPIs and reporting.
• Work with Procurement on responsible sourcing and supplier assessments.
• Partner with R&D to embed sustainability into new projects.
• Engage teams across UK and international operations to drive change.
