Job summary

April Quest Ltd in Portsmouth is seeking an organised Sustainability Coordinator to drive sustainability initiatives across engineering and manufacturing. You’ll work with the Head of Sustainability to align projects, data and people to move plans forward.

You will coordinate across Design Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance and Finance, maintain dashboards, analyse data for reports and EcoVadis assessments, and support supplier sustainability and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple sustainability projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with across-team collaboration.
• Attention to detail and proficiency in data handling and reporting.
• Good Microsoft 365 skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data presentation.

• Maintaining dashboards and records, and creating communications that help colleagues understand the progress being made.

Job description

We’re looking for an organised, curious Sustainability Coordinator to help deliver sustainability initiatives across an engineering and manufacturing business. Working closely with the Head of Sustainability, you’ll bring together the projects, data and people needed to move those plans forward.

You’ll coordinate across teams including Design Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance and Finance, giving you a broad view of the business and the chance to make a real impact.

What you’ll be doing:

• Collecting and analysing data for sustainability reports, carbon reporting, EcoVadis assessments and customer questionnaires.

What you’ll bring:

You’ll be a strong organiser who enjoys working with data, keeping projects on track and communicating with people across a business. Attention to detail, clear written and verbal communication, and good Microsoft 365 skills are essential.

Experience in manufacturing, ESG reporting or sustainability programmes would be useful, as well as knowledge of carbon reporting, EcoVadis or EPDs. A relevant qualification is welcome, but you don’t need to tick every box.
