Job summary

JDR Recruitment is hiring a Manufacturing Labourer for a busy Swansea area site offering a Monday to Friday day pattern. The role involves hands-on, varied tasks in a workshop environment with GRP exposure and an emphasis on safe, practical work.

You will support parts of the manufacturing process, move materials around the shop, prepare components and assist with assembly. This is a long-term role with potential to become permanent and a straightforward path into a busy engineering team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing would be beneficial.
• Practical, hands-on background is valued.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely.

Responsibilities

• General labouring and assisting skilled members of the production team.
• Preparing materials for manufacturing and moving items around the workshop.
• Assisting with manufacture and assembly of large industrial products.
• Using basic hand tools and workshop equipment.
• Carrying out cleaning and prep work and general housekeeping.
• Supporting multiple departments as workloads change.
